Jesus has conquered sin, Satan and Death
Let's celebrate Jesus' Victory over Death!
Here are my some favourite scriptures on the Resurrection of Jesus Christ:
Revelation 1:17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. 18 I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.
Jesus holds the keys of Hades and Death.
Acts 3:15 and you killed the Author of life, whom God raised from the dead. To this we are witnesses.
Jesus Christ is the Author of life. whom God raised from the dead.

This verse is really powerful and convicting. How many times we end up in situations when someone starts yelling and loosing their temper easily. Short temper people can really cause a peaceful situation in disturbing and horrific one. I feel there are people who easily give in to the devil's provocation inside their heart and they easily burst in anger and start yelling at other person. Many times a believer's nature is not changed or transformed by renewing of the mind and live and work with other believers and really cause trouble, time to time they will blast and yell or show their attitudes. It is very unhealthy to work in such environment. Our peace gets disturbed and holiness questionable.
If we also read other translation of the above verse it becomes more clearer that we should make all efforts to avoid such situations where we are tested and also others who are weak and carnal.
ESV: Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
NIV: Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.
NLT: Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord.
Strive, Make every effort, and work to live in peace with everyone.
Living in peace with others is one of the important aspect of walking in holiness, and it is clearly written that without Holiness it is impossible to see the Lord.
Do you want to see the Lord in your life, walk in peace and holiness.
"Oh Dear God, lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.."

Colossians 3:23, 24
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”
Volunteers serve the Lord wholeheartedly, and their reward is from the Lord.
I have known of the volunteers who are being used and sometimes insulted in public by the leaders. A volunteer is also a child of God has same value as the leader of the organization.
Volunteers are precious asset in God's work. They work in the background. They have various responsibilities to fulfill without which show will not happened.
- Pay attention who are genuinely volunteering.
- Value them not only in words but also in practical ways.
- Be grateful for them. Don't take their helps for granted.
- Practically support the needy ones in the same manner as other expenses are taken care.

Have you ever wondered why God allow bad leaders to come in authority. You see carnal, corrupt, compromising manupulating leaders having authority and positions around you.
We need to understand that God has plans for His people and He sees what we can not see. To fulfill His ultimate purposes. He can turn any bad situation to serve His purposes. As a sovereign God He is in control, therefore no leader – good or bad – takes power apart from God’s sovereign plan.
If we look into the scriptures, we see resistance and opposition from bad people could not stop God from fulfilling His purposes.

Fret not yourself because of evildoers;
be not envious of wrongdoers!
2For they will soon fade like the grass
and wither like the green herb.
3Trust in the LORD, and do good;
dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.
4Delight yourself in the LORD,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Envy and jealousy is dangerous sin that can kill you and your family.
Jealousy can be triggered in:
-So called love affair Relationships
-Position and power related roles
-Material things of others
-Talents or success of others
- When someone is better than you in any area or anything.
- Racism
How the jealousy and envy is manifested:
- Unable to praise the person.
- Finds faults with others.
- Anger
- Frustration
- Lack of empathy
- Quarrelling
- Selfish Ambition
- Disorder
- Hate- Murder
- Gossip and Criticism
- Division/ Groupism
- Comparing
- Rebellion
- Revenge
◄ James 3:16 ► For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice.
◄ James 3:14 NLT► But if you are bitterly jealous and there is selfish ambition in your heart, don’t cover up the truth with boasting and lying.
◄ Rom 13:13 ESV► Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarreling and jealousy.
New Living Translation
Psalm 37:8 Stop being angry! Turn from your rage! Do not lose your temper— it only leads to harm.
English Standard Version
Psalm 37:8 Refrain from anger and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil.
Numbers 16 records very clear example of envy and jealousy getting manifested in Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab.
In the book of Genesis Abel's murder is recorded which was caused by jealousy.
I think envy and jealousy is the main characterstic of the Devil- that's why he is in rebellion with God.
How someone should react when faced with envy and jealousy:
1. Trust and hope in the Lord for right things to happen.
2. Rejoice in the Lord.
3. Count your own blessings and be grateful don't compare with others.
4. Appreciate and praise others even if they have ill feeling towards you.
5. Do good.
6. Stay secure in the Lord- it is who you are in the Lord that matters more than anything else.
7. Maintain intimacy with the Lord in fear of God and holiness.
Someone has quoted: Jealousy is the art of counting someone else's blessings instead of your own.

Worthless Men
I'm amazed to know that Bible even talks about worthless men. I see that even today we encounter with worthless men in our society. They are trouble makers, difficult to handle and cunning and seeking to harm others.
2 Samuel 23:6-7
6 But worthless men are all like thorns that are thrown away,
for they cannot be taken with the hand;
7 but the man who touches them
arms himself with iron and the shaft of a spear,
and they are utterly consumed with fire.”

My Favourite Chapters Mathew 5- 7 (Golden Chapters)
Matt 7:5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
Many leaders and people find it easy to blame and judge others easily. They don't even think about their own shortcomings and own faults. I wonder why people don't examine themselves first before harshly passing on judgement on others. Don't they realize that God is watching and knows every heart's intentions.
Judgement often comes out from the heart that is lacking in love.
In this verse the Beam that Jesus is referring to is our own big blind spots where we can not see and judge appropriately. Without removing the beam first from our own eyes we are not supposed to judge anyone.
Actually Jesus begins his message with saying judge not and if we judge then we will be judged in the same manner.
We need to understand; we are what we are today because of God's grace and it's not our own righteousness, but His grace alone. His grace has been rendered to you so that you judge not others but release grace to others.
We all are condemned before God but only God's love and grace is making difference in our lives.
Thank you Jesus for your grace.
