0. Reading-Speaking-Meditating on the Word of God will make you successful

Joshua 1:8 

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

1. Reading Bible can help us to understand the nature and character of God.

2. Reading/listening to Bible helps us to have faith.

Romans 10:17

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

3. The Word of God gives us light and direction - It is our guide.

Psalm 119:105

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

4. God speaks to us through His written Word.

5. It will guide us to stop living in sin.

6. In the Bible we find the promises, instructions and commandments to live a godly life.

7. Ultimately it helps us to grow spiritually.

Neglecting the word of God will lead us into spiritual poverty.
