2 W: Wealth & Worship (Service and Worship)
There are 2 things where the Devil is in direct rebellion against God, and he is opposing and competing with God and want to be the master. First through Mammon (Wealth)- Matt. 6: 24 says No one can server two masters- you can not serve God and Mammon. Many people worship Mammon by being covetous, Greedy, lusting after riches and living in indulgence.
Another vital area where he (the Devil) is wanting to be the master is in the area of receiving Worship from the people of the earth.
God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
The Devil is liar and counterfeits the original, Devil has been coveting worship from human beings since the beginning. He wants to be worshiped instead of God, as we know that the Devil is anti God and never likes that the human beings to worship True and Living God.
So as an enemy of God and His people he has created lots of counterfeits to be worshiped.
You can see the deception going on in this world, He has made people even to believe that work is worship. But we need to understand that our labors and our hard work can not take place of the true worship that God is seeking.
Music, Performances and Entertainment should never take place of the true worship of God. Believers and the worship leaders should never loose the focus of worshiping God and never allow flesh to hinder the true worship of God. Jesus said with compelling words; "God is spirit, and those who worship must worship in spirit and truth." You see the word must is there. True worshippers are wanted by God.
God wants to be worshiped in spirit and truth.
But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”
